The economic court of the Kyiv region ordered the Bila Tserkva Combined heat and power plant (CHP) to repay the debt in the amount of UAH 34.5 million

Since 2017, the bank “Finance and Credit” has unsuccessfully tried to recover the loan debt from the PJSC “Bila Tserkva Combined heat and power plant” (CHP) in court.

In January 2020 The Economic Court of the Kyiv region, on the basis of the contract of assignment of the rights of claim for loans of the bank “Finance and Credit”, recognized FC “Investohills Vesta” as a new creditor.

Taking advantage of the status of a strategic object in the system of life support enterprises of the city, representatives of the city administration of the city of Bila Tserkva, as well as representatives of the CHP, in every possible way delayed the consideration of the case and did not seek to fulfill credit obligations. Later, already in court, authorized persons of PJSC “Bila Tserkva Combined heat and power plant” tried to prove to the new lender that the enterprise had never received any credit funds from the bank “Finance and Credit”.

On 28.07.2021, the Economic Court of the Kyiv region put an end to the case No. 911/697/17, obliging the CHP of the city of Bila Tserkva to repay the loan debt in the amount of UAH 34.5 million.

It is noteworthy that in parallel, in court, representatives of the CHP in every possible way block the consideration of a similar case No. 911/445/19 on the repayment of debts to a new creditor – “Investohills Vesta” in the amount of over UAH 1.4 billion. Contrary to common sense, the managers of the Bila Tserkva Combined heat and power plant do not seek a compromise and a peaceful settlement of the issue of the company’s debt obligations.
